Chris is an "almost native" Coloradoan, raised in Fort Collins. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell College in 1990 and his Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado in 1998.

 

Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults using individual, play, couples and family therapy modalities. Chris has worked in residential treatment, outpatient and school based settings, and is a counselor at Loveland's newest hospital, the Medical Center of the Rockies. Chris believes in community involvement and volunteers on the Advisory Council and the Program Committee for Partners Mentoring Youth of Larimer County. Chris has been in private practice with Lifeworks Counseling since 2004.

 

Chris works from a strength based philosophy and often utilizes cognitive-behavioral interventions within the therapy process. He believes that all people are capable of growth and change and that therapy can be an invaluable tool for increasing success and happiness in one's life and relationships.
