Peter was born and raised in Northern Wisconsin. He recieved his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1980 and his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary's College of Minnesota in Minneapolis Minnesota in 1990. Peter was licensed in 1997 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Peter is also a member of the critical incident stress debriefing team in Larimer County.

 

Peter is experienced in working with elementary age children and their families providing play therapy. Peter also works with adolescents and adult individuals and couples. He uses the approaches of solution focused and cognitive behavioral theories as well as attachment theory. Peter feels that the relationship between client and therapist is of the utmost importance in beginning therapy and for therapy to be successful.
